Tatoos all over your body or back is freaky/painful/cool?? Rings and holes all over your body??
I was shocked to see this article. Why would ppl want to hurt their body this way? Is this really a way of representing that you are cool and STYLE??

Extreme body modification slowly gaining favour in S'pore
SINGAPORE: Tattoos are increasingly common in Singapore, but a more extreme form of body art is now finding favour among a small, but growing pool of Singaporeans. Property agent Alexx Ng's tattoos turn heads when he is out on the streets. He got his first one at the age of 21 and was hooked since. But his Japanese body suit (full body tattoo) is not his most controversial mark. With the help of a visiting Spanish body modification artist, Alexx planted two rows of ball bearings under his skin. He said: "I took mild anaesthetic. But you can still feel the artist cutting, pushing the bits through, separating the channel between tissue and skin. You can feel everything." Nonetheless, Alexx thinks that the procedure, which took several hours, was safe, but plastic surgeons like Dr Ivor Lim warn of risks. Dr Lim said: "It's important to maintain fully sterile conditions when you put in implants. Infection is one of the big complications which can occur from putting in any implants. All implants will be regarded by the body as foreign objects, and the natural response is for the body to extrude the foreign object. "This exposes the body to a whole variety of infections. We have bacteria teeming all over our body surface, and these can inadvertently get onto the implant, and can be implanted, along with the implant, to whatever location it might be." Alexx plans to get more of these procedures done in the future, but he said he would have to go overseas as the body modification scene here has yet to take off.

Personally I dun even dare to have a hole on my ear lob for ear rings. I dunno should I phrase that those trying for tattoos are courageous? Simply cant comprehend or understand why they have to go through all those unnecessary pain/torture. I really dun find that tattoos are nice leh or even disgusting by some of the design. sorry if I have offended those who went for tattoos. These are from my own perceptions only. Being picked by needles thousand of times definitely don’t feel great. Now they even want implant the ball bearing. FAINT. Please treasure the body…
