Mirror Mirror on the wall, who's the real me after all..on saturday, jasmine shared a story..
A man fell into a deep pit.. it was very dark inside and there's a snake trying to attack him. He shouted Help Help.. then there was this Passerby A went pass. he stopped by telling him not to be affected by the environment. everything would going to be alright and he walked off. but the fact was the man was still inside the pit. feeling very scared as the snake going to harm him anytime. He called Help Help again. there came the second passerby. the passerby told him to try his best to climb out of the pit by the rocks at the side..The man tried very hard but still failed. He could not manage to climb out. The passerby went off. The man shouted Help Help again. This time came the third passerby.. hearing his cry for help, the passerby jumped into the pit and he pushed the man out of the pit and faced the snake by himself.
this illustrate the diff between Christianity and Religion.
i was so thankful to be able to be saved by grace.. there's nthg i have to do to earn this salvation. since young, there's lots of comparison between with me and others either by parents or relatives. when you compared, you would never be satisfied and find the fufilment. self worth does not come from wat achievement you attain or from what people said.and when you place self worth in things you do as you would be disappointed and there's always someone out there better than you.
now on, i want my heart to be a heart that's after you.. a humble heart that bowed before your throne.
Next week would be the MIRROR MIRROR ON THE WALL PART II...
